MOUNTAIN ARNICA- A botanical credited with a wide variety of properties including anitseptic, astringent,
antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, anticoagulant, circulation-stimulant, healing, and stimulating. It also promotes the
removal of waste from the skin, aids in promotion of new tissue growth, and is antiallergenic. Traditionally used at
the appearance of couperose condition, arnica extract is also considered excellent for an acne condition. Treats
damaged, reddened, or tired skin.
MARIGOLD EXTRACT- The effects attributed to marigold extract include antiseptic, healing, and soothing. It is
especially useful in eye treatments. In addition, it may be beneficial used against sunburns and other superficial
burns due to some emollient capabilities. Traditionally, marigold extract was used to heal skin rashes and cleanse
the wounds.
METHYLPARABEN - one of the most frequently used preservatives because of its
very low sensitizing potential. It is one of the oldest preservatives in use to combat
bacteria and molds. Noncomedogenic.
MACADAMIA NUT OIL - (Macadamia Integrifolia) a carrier and an emollient with
excellent spreadability, lubrication, and penetration properties. It is moisturizing,
leaces a good smooth, nongreasy afterfeel, and is very gentle to the skin. It
naturally contains tocopherols.
MUSK ROSE OIL - (Rosa Moschata) see Rose Oil.
MANDELIC ACID- Amygdalic Acid- it is an alpha hydroxy acid, derived from Bitter
Almonds. Mandelic acid is unique in that it possesses antibacterial properties. It is
an appropriate treatment for a wide variety of skin concerns, from acne to
wrinkles.
