LAVANDULA ANGUSTIFOLIA - Lavender oil. It is considered an all purpose oil credited with many
medicinal and folkloric properties. These indicate antiallergenic, anti- inflammatory, antiseptic,
antibacterial, antispasmodic, balancing, energizing, soothing, healing, tonic, and stimulating. In addition,
it is also have insect repellent properties. Lavender oil works well on all skin types and produces
excellent results when used for oily skin as well as the treatment of acne, burns, dermatitis, eczema
and psoriasis. Lavender oil is said to normalize any skin type and stimulate cellular growth and

skin problems caused or aggravated by stress. The known use of this oil extends at least to the Roman
era when it was a popular additive to baths. It is generally considered nontoxic, no sensitizing and
nonirritating.

LEMON EXTRACT - (Citrus Limonum) Its botanical properties are described as ant bactericidal,
antiseptic, astringent and toning. Lemon extract is suggested for treating sunburn, acne problems and
oily skin. This extract contains citric acid and vitamins B and C.

LEMON OIL - as one of the most versatile essential oils in aromatherapy, it is considered a
counterirritant, antiseptic, depurative, and lymphatic stimulant. The volatile oil is obtained from the
fresh peel of Citrus Limon (citrus lemon) that contains an essential oil and a bitter principle.

LACTIC ACID- a multipurpose ingredient used as preservative, exfoliant, and moisturizer. It is an alpha
hydroxyacid occurring is sour milk, and other sources such as beer, pickles, and other foods made
through a process of bacterial fermentation.

LINSEED ACID- Botanical properties are listed as emollient, anti-inflammatory, and healing. Derived
from the flax plant seed.

LYSINE CARBOXYMETHYL CYSTEINATE- amino acid complex with the ability to regulate oil secretion.
